Selected Engineering Work
Validated SOMNOtouch and Aktiia continuous blood pressure monitoring systems for NHS clinical engineering context, assessing signal consistency, measurement accuracy, drift, and agreement with reference devices.
Designed and evaluated a patient-specific surgical guide using CT-based segmentation, 3D reconstruction, Materialise MIMICS, and 3-matic workflows to support personalised orthopaedic planning.
Compared inspection technologies including vernier callipers, Renishaw Equator, on-machine measurement, and CMM, then applied SPC and Cp/Cpk analysis to evaluate dimensional stability and manufacturing capability.
Investigated the effect of infill percentage on FDM tensile specimen failure behaviour, using SolidWorks, 3D printing, tensile testing, regression modelling, and Arrhenius-type reliability analysis.
Supported experimental research into self-healing lime mortars for sustainable restoration, including casting, demoulding, workability, flexural and compressive testing, literature review, and data analysis.
